What is the Port Tariff?

The port tariff is a document containing the official rules, regulations, and charges governing business conducted with the South Carolina State Ports Authority, including the Port of Charleston. There are three tariffs for the South Carolina State Ports Authority's port facilities. The Port of Charleston is a standalone document; The Port of Georgetown and Port of Port Royal are on one tariff; and the Veterans Terminal is on a standalone tariff. Notice of these tariffs is properly filed with the Federal Maritime Commission and are available online from the SC State Ports Authority.
