Statement on C-TPAT Certification
The South Carolina State Ports Authority (SCSPA) became a certified member of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) in January 2004.

Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
The possession of a TWIC and the SPA issued ID card is required for individuals who need routine access to secure/restricted areas in the course of their employment and due to the nature of their employment where TWIC escorting is not feasible.
