Container gates at Wando Welch Terminal and North Charleston Terminal will be open extended hours on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
? Gates will be open 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
? Must be in line at 2:30 PM.
? No reefer container services are being offered.
We are continuing to see performance improvements from the Advanced Gate System. We are averaging more than 5,000 gate moves per day at the Wando Welch Terminal and the gate additions mentioned last week have been implemented. We are now processing bobtails, empty containers, and bare chassis moves in four new lanes under Building 442 (gates 22, 23, 25, and 27). No loaded containers are allowed in gates 22, 23, 25, and 27.
