Progress continues with implementation of the Advanced Gate System. In order to more efficiently handle volume around the July 4 holiday and to aid our customers in planning, the South Carolina Ports Authority is announcing modified container terminal gate hours for the next week.
Below is the schedule for both Wando Welch Terminal and North Charleston Terminal:
Tuesday, June 28:
- Gates will be open normal hours--6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 5:30 PM.
- Reefer gate cut-off is 4:30 PM.
Wednesday, June 29:
- Gates will be open normal hours--6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 5:30 PM.
- Reefer gate cut-off is 4:30 PM.
Thursday, June 30:
- Extended gate hours--6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 8:30 PM.
- Reefer gate operating normal hours--cut-off 4:30 PM.
Friday, July 1:
- Gates will be open normal hours--6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 5:30 PM.
- Reefer gate cut-off is 4:30 PM.
Saturday, July 2:
- Gates will be open normal Saturday hours--6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 12:30 PM.
- No reefer services offered.
Sunday, July 3:
- Gates closed.
Monday, July 4:
- Closed. No work day.
Tuesday, July 5:
- Extended gate hours--6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Last truck through the security gate at 8:30 PM.
- Extended reefer hours--cut-off 8:00 PM.
