In an effort to help clear some of the congestion in the Port of Charleston that has resulted from implementation of the Advanced Gate System, the South Carolina Ports Authority will offer extended gates at both Wando Welch Terminal and North Charleston Terminal on Monday, June 27. Both terminals will be fully-staffed for dry and reefer cargo for all hours noted.
Monday, June 27:
? WWT & NCT gates will be open 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
? Last truck through the security gate at 10:30 PM.
? Reefer gate cut-off is 8:00 PM.
? Ensuring all drivers have valid Gate Codes will also assist with reducing congestion.
