Jaclyn Diane Braun


Jaclyn Diane Braun is a language and international trade major at Clemson.  Last year she participated in a six-month self-designed study abroad in Dalian, China.  Upon returning, Jaclyn revived the Clemson University Chinese Language Club and is currently its president.  She was one of three undergraduate students selected to participate as a consultant for Clemson’s Center for International Trade, working with graduate students to advise companies on export marketing plans and business strategy.

Corrie Adams


Corrie Franklin Adams is a rising senior at the College of Charleston with a 3.86 GPA while working two jobs.  She is majoring in international business with minors in French, Italian and global logistics and transportation.  Corrie is the recipient of the South Carolina Logistics League Outstanding Logistics Student Award and is an international sales intern with a custom house broker in Charleston.

Kevin Jack


Kevin Daniel Jack is a senior at The Citadel and is a member of three separate honor societies.  He has maintained a 3.8 GPA and is fluent in Spanish.  As a senior in high school, he left before graduation and worked with the American Embassy and Spain’s EU representative in Guatemala.  On active duty with the Navy, he traveled to more than a dozen nations.

Philip Saccullo


Philip Saccullo, a rising senior at the College of Charleston in the Honor’s Program, is seeking a bachelor’s in political science with a minor in global logistics and transportation.  He has a 3.74 GPA and is active in the Italian Club, the International Club and the Student Port.  This summer he is interning with an international law firm in Rome.

Elizabeth Hedgecoe


Elizabeth Anne Hedgecoe is a rising senior in the University of South Carolina with a 3.72 GPA.  An international business student at the Moore School of Business, she is an adjunct undergraduate research fellow with the Palmetto Institute.  Elizabeth speaks four languages and was an active member of the Global Business Council.

Philip Mescher


Philip Lee Mescher is a senior majoring in business through the University of South Carolina’s Honors College.  He has a maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and is currently studying abroad at the Vienna School of Economic and Business Administration in Austria.  Philip is particularly interested in the EU market structure and trade agreements.

Chelsea Lee


Chelsea Elizabeth Lee of Rock Hill is a rising senior at the Columbia College Honors Program.  She has earned a 3.72 GPA with a double major in accounting and business administration.  Chelsea was selected to participate in UNC-Wilmington’s Honors Semester in Wales last year, where she interned with Lloyds TSB.  She has been very active in various on- and off-campus academic, social and community groups and worked as a page in the State Senate.

Rod Pedrotti


Rodrigo Jefferson Pedrotti is a senior at the College of Charleston, majoring in international business with a minor in global logistics and transportation.  He gave up a promotion at work to return to school after three years.  Rod has taken on a leadership role as president of the Student Port and is described by the department chair as an excellent student.

Bridgette Nicholson


Bridgette Nicole Nicholson is a rising senior at Western Carolina University’s Honors College, majoring in international business.  A Dean’s List student, she plans to study abroad next spring and is a member of the International Business Club.  A professor described Bridgette as diligent, hardworking, pleasant and always willing to lend a hand to her fellow students.
