Networking The Propeller Club is the largest waterfront organization in the Port of Charleston, and the only club that our industry’s top leaders regularly attend. Social programs such as the holiday party, oyster roast and harbor cruise offer additional opportunities to network with colleagues.

Education Get the latest on what’s going on in the industry. Past programs have included discussions from shippers, the Secretary of Commerce, port executives and the popular ocean carrier roundtable.

Community The Propeller Club gives back to the community, sponsoring an annual $3,000 scholarship for a promising college student. The Club also recently donated $1,000 toward Save the Light and the Gen. William Moultrie Statue and $1,500 to the Charleston Firemen’s Fund.

Members receive regular meeting updates, a copy of the membership directory, news from the Club, discounts on regular events and an official membership pin.

Individual memberships to the Propeller Club are only $85 annually, with a one-time $10 initiation fee.
